Beauty's Deception
Beauty is love, care, passion, and grace
And can be found in the darkest place
For beauty they say is in the eye of the beholder
But beauty can sometimes seem so much colder
If you have beauty in love, you can be filled with happiness
And it can be all your desires come true
But when love does leave you and embers burn
That beauty can be the demise of you
Beauty has a fine line into the grotesque
And what is once beautiful may not always be
So then is beauty a fragment of imagination?
But with that I don’t quiet agree
Beauty can stare you in the face and leave you in ore
It will weaken the core of what’s within
I ask if beauty is so beautiful
Then how can it crumble the strongest of men?
Beauty can take many forms
For beauty is power, so don’t be misled
The reason why beauty is so powerful and strong
Is because beauty can easily govern your head
Because what’s beauty to me
May not be to you
And that means my mind determines
For me what beauty is true
So, what? I hear you ask is the point of this
And to be fair I ask myself the same.
Because I myself would like to understand more
How beauty can bring so much heartfelt pain
Don’t be naïve, but enjoy beauty as full as you can
And hope what you find beautiful to you is kind
But be aware, and know your self
Because beauty can hold more power than your mind
So add an air of caution
Weather beauty is an object, a love, a passion or purely perception
Because one thing I am sure of
Is that beauty is fully capable of deception.
