The Raw Truth About Sugar

Sugar consumption isn't only risky because of diabetes, but an issue for nearly every common health problem. Whether you are currently battling a health condition, or consider yourself to be in "perfect health" sugar has some not-so-sweet side effects when consumed.

After digesting a fair amount of sugar, compatible to a soda or candy bar, the body's immune response is impaired for about 4 hours. Sugar has been proven to cause inflammation, weight gain, increased pain, diabetes, premature aging, and feed cancer cells.

Half of Americans consume one-half pound of sugar per DAY, in comparison to 4 lbs per YEAR in the 1700's. You can point the finger at the food industry, put after you point, keep your fingers away from soft drinks, processed snacks. Anything with more than 10 grams of sugar, won't be too sweet to your health.
