It's a natural thing in the world to dislike the people in your life who bring you down. We tend to feel angry and frustrated with them. But keep in mind that they aren't born that way. Children aren't usually born with genes that make them frustrate and anger other people — it is a learned trait. And it's usually learned because it happened to them. So why are you surrounding yourself with a bunch of assholes? You need a self-esteem check
Only Accept what you deserve. There is no reason you should ever get back less than you give people. If you feel like you've been taken advantage of, all you have to do is stand up for yourself. If you're always dealing with complainers, it's as simple as saying "I've decided I only want to talk about positive things for now on". If that hasn't work, don't be embarrassed to avoid the situation all together. For example, if your coworker always complains during your coffee break, tell them you need some alone time today.
How to Attract "Real Friends"
Choose your mood. One sure way to attract a positive person is to smile. Think about it, you are more likely to make friendly conversation with someone smiling at you then with someone who looks miserable. Forcing a smile is proven to help so show those pearly whites. If that doesn't work, there's always Jenna Marbles videos and Akward Family Photos.
Love Yourself. People want to be around happy and confident people. Don't let your insecurities bring you down. If you need a little confidence boost, write down all of the things you love about being you.
Think positively. In order to think positively, it usually requires that you believe good things can and will happen for not only yourself but also for those around you. When you think positively, you are more likely to attract happiness through interactions with people and the environment around you.
